To facilitate your art lesson, you’ll be provided with extensive resources after your booking confirmation. Our Digital Art Resource can be used on the whiteboard, featuring important practical guidelines as well as over 88 constructive step-by-step projects to especially cater non-art specialist teachers. Our featured projects are not only adaptable with the National Curriculum, they will enrich your pupil’s creative and technical skills, enabling children of all ages and abilities to create high quality pictures.
For our personal home project, you can also find on this website vast choices of useful information. The key articles to review before you start are recommended media, medium applications, art guidelines; other optional resources include picture styles, step-by-step projects, and videos on how to paint like a pro.
Your art can only be made onto our template using good quality A4 paper most suitable for your medium application.
Unfortunately, most template papers supplied free by other companies may initially seem a convenience to you, however in reality, they are only intended to enable quick automated scanning; while none of them are suitable for slightly advanced technical applications, some may not even be good enough for simple painting. ( we sell specialist art papers at low rate )
By choosing your own media, you will be able to experience the entire design process, which we believe will serve a very important part of our project purpose.
It will be sent to you after your booking confirmation. Some project templates will feature a handy ‘editable’ option to serve as a time-saving solution for infant teachers, allowing common group details to be pre-printed, thus alleviating laborious manual writing later.
Pre-printed with your project template and school name, our Daler Rowney 220gsm cartridge papers are superior compare to ordinary papers, suitable for most medium applications including watercolours. For a small investment, not only will your pupils greatly benefit from the pleasure of working on these specialist papers, they will also gain a much better finish and reproduction.
Papers can be ordered during your booking confirmation, payable at project end. For most projects, P&P is free if we send them at project start.
Great for proficient artists using non-printer friendly media, the process involves simply drawing 1 or 2 lines. With this option, you can use cold-pressed papers to boost textures of your watercolour paintings, or even black media and oil pastels to create stunning effects.
